THE PROBLEM

Die richtige Ware auf Lager zu haben ist eine Herausforderung. Bisher wurden Einkäufe mit Listen im Einkaufssystem abgewickelt, in denen Bestellpunkte basierend auf Lagerbeständen und Verkaufshistorie mit Vorlaufzeiten berechnet wurden. Dann war es leicht, zu viel zu kaufen, sagt Mikael Johansson, Einkäufer am Hauptsitz von Lundgren in Askim und Projektleiter für die Implementierung von SOLO.
-Das Ziel war es, die Verkaufsgeschwindigkeit zu erhöhen, die Lagerbestände zu optimieren und unseren Service für die Kunden zu verbessern. Früher oder später müssen diese Probleme angegangen werden, sagt Mikael Johansson
THE SOLUTION
Lundgren's implemented SOLO and the integration with Microsoft AX was handled by PromoSoft and Lundgren's IT supplier. SOLO bases purchasing proposals on automatically calculated forecasts, optimized order points and order quantities. Purchase orders are sent to external suppliers and between the own facilities and production orders are also created for tailor-made products.
And the journey is not over yet. "When we feel that everything is set up correctly, we consider adding more functions, such as load carrier optimization, which ensures that containers are filled with optimal quantities of the right goods," says Mikael.
THE VALUE SOLO ADDS
I get a good overview of the entire flow and control over the information - history, sales and purchase proposals. I feel safe with the purchase volumes and trust the system, says Mikael Johansson.
