Problem att lösa

Swedol offers in its own stores, through re sellers, mail order and e-commerce quality goods at competitive prices in electrical / electronics, tools, work wear / protective equipment, vehicle accessories and consumables. The stores account for about 80% of sales, other sales are via mail order and e-commerce.

Swedol does not take chances - NoGap keeps track of the range. Swedol installed SOLO and NoGap as a tool to lower inventory value in the central warehouse and increase service for the stores.

The former purchasing manager agreed to make the decision. The current, Luigi De Stefano, got it so to say "in the knee": "We get excellent results, but the system does not work by itself, how automatic it is. It requires skills."

The purpose of SOLO and NoGap is that Swedol will be even better at having the right things in the right place at the right time.

"Without a doubt, we save a lot of time by using the system. Prognostication becomes more efficient and more accurate. Earlier we worked manually, looked at the history and trend of the goods and based purchases after that. But it was a little bit of a chance." commented Luigi De Stefano.
