Solution architect for growing PromoSoft

PromoSoft is a sharp niche player in Inventory Management and Purchasing Optimization. We mainly offer in-house developed IT systems for inventory management and purchasing, but also consulting services in the area. Our customer group is medium-sized to large companies in the wholesale and retail trade. The core of our systems has been developed together with the department of industrial management and logistics at LTH faculty of engineering and makes us the market leader in our niche for our customer segment. In this way, we ensure that our customers buy the right amount, of the right goods, at the right time. We are located in a nice office in central Gothenburg with good communications. We are the small company with the large customers, which means that the tasks vary greatly over time. Do you thrive in an environment where one day is not the same and all employees are central? About the role
Our product is undergoing a generational change, which means that you will work a lot with new development of our inventory management system. At the same time, we have a high influx of new customers and are happy to see that you can move in the borderland between development and customer contact.

You will be a key person in our team of developers and consultants which today consists of 6 people.
We are located in new fresh premises in central Gothenburg both close to communications and good lunch opportunities.


  • Lead architecture initiatives from inception to completion

  • Collaborate with business users to create architecture in alignment with business need

  • Act as a technical subject matter expert for business users

  • Champion the adoption of reusable architecture assets to improve efficiency

  • Produce documentation to aid in the understanding of existing architecture solutions


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics

  • 5+ years' of relevant experience

  • Advanced knowledge of leading architecture solutions in the industry area

  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

  • Ability to demonstrate technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Requirements profile

  • University education in system development or equivalent experience

  • At least a few years' experience of development in .NET, C #

  • Knowledge in Web APIs , Windows service, MS SQL

Experience in the following areas is an advantage

  • AI / ML models and programming in Python

  • Java script

  • Jira

  • Experience of business systems, purchasing / warehousing

  • Knowledge of flows in business systems. Supply Chain Management.

  • Experience in inventory management / purchasing planning / forecasting.

Vi utvecklar system för inköps- och lagerstyrning för företag med stora varulager där lager och distribution är fokus. 

Våra kunder upplevde att lagerstyrning och varuplanering tog för mycket tid och att köpa in rätt volym varor för att nå en viss servicegrad var både krångligt och näst intill omöjligt.

Tack vare automatiseringen i systemet blir de också skalbara så att de kan öka försäljningen gånger tio utan att behöva fler resurser på inköp.
